Question: Who are you, anyways?
Answer: We are a company that consists of two guys who are not really happy with the literature available in our (Estonian) market that is books (either) written or printed in English. We are hoping to make your business with us as smooth and pleasurable as possible.
The formal side of all the transactions is covered by a company called Falcon Books OÜ, which is supervised by us.
Question: How long does it take for the books to reach me?
Answer: We have detailed shipping durations in our shipping information page. If you are interested in international postage rates, then contact us.
Question: I am worried about the condition of the book: does it have any unlisted flaws?
Answer: As we sell mostly used books, some of them might have little bends/creases, and even, in some cases, someones signature in them. But we guarantee that the book has all the pages and no serious tears unless stated otherwise in the item description. If interested enough, contact us about the item and we will do our very best to describe you as it is.
Question: I received a book that differs from the picture on your website, why is that so?
Answer: Just to make stocking of the books easier for us, we made a little simplification. Even if we have different editions of the same book in the stock, we still leave up only one picture chosen at random from the possible book covers that this specific book might have in selected format. This means that picture might not always reflect the actual book.
In short : you might get a book that looks better than on the picture listed, but then again you might get a book that does not.
Question: How can I pay for items?
Answer: After you complete your order you will receive an email shortly from us, that specifies the order amount and shipping. Also that given email should contain our bank account numbers.
Also, we are always willing to accept money orders, and cash.
Question: Are the books softcover or hardcover?
Answer: All the books in stock, are softcover unless stated otherwise. if the book happens to be hardcover, we will reflect it in the title by writing (HC) or Hardcover in it.
Question: Do you ship internationally?
Answer: As we are always looking to expand our horizon, we would love to send the book to Poland/Afganistan or wherever you might be, provided that you can also pay for your items. All the available payment options have been listed with this FAQ.
Question: Do you have a book in stock by {authorname} titled {booktitle}?
Answer: Our online stock reflects almost all of our books we physically have in our hands. But... As it always is with stores, we do have some contacts from where we could dig up your specific wishes. If you have such, you are always welcome to contact us and we will try to do our best to respond with offer that includes price and transit quote.
Question: Where will those books be shipped from, and are they physically in your hands or are you one of those merry-go-happy shops that are trying to sell books they dont have?
Answer: All the books listed on this website are physically held by store owners in Tartu, the place we consider to be a good base of operations.
And if it seems to you that we have missed some information that should be listed, then make us aware of the flaw and we will fix it.
